GET IN X SANTANDER ESPORTS

In May 2022 we were introduced to Santander’s global team through a mutual friend as they required assistance in and around its esports strategies.

Santander began its esports journey by sponsoring both the LEC and CBLOL League of Legends respectively, and launching an X (Twitter) account dedicated to engaging directly with the esports audiences. We helped guide them along that journey with the following services:

  • Recruitment: They required a part-time in-house social media manager that lived and breathed League of Legends but who would also be an amazing stakeholder management for all the relevant partners and parties involved. After conducting several 1st stage, 2nd stage and 3rd stage interviews whilst cooperating all this back to the team we finally arrived at our chosen candidate who went on to do some great work in growing the brand from nothing.

  • Consultancy: I was also privileged enough to get my eyes across Esport Santander’s initial launch plans and provide feedback and insights into the industry where possible.

The account as of writing this (Q2 2024) sits at 45,000 followers and has since launched the brand on Instagram and TikTok.
